Walmart Exer-hide chew bones

by Jason
(Happy Valley, CA)

Perhaps it's as the label says "Made with ingredients from Mexico and Brazil" that is the problem, but I gave them to my dogs and all five of them had diarrhea for over four days.

Walmart, as of the time I'm righting this, is still carrying "Hartz" rawhide dog chews, which I haven't had any trouble with. But I noticed when I was there yesterday that they seem to be replacing any other brand with ONLY the Exer-hide rawhide dog chews.

Just a head's up!

Exer-Hides
by: Anonymous

Our dog has recently become very ill from the Exer-Hide rawhide bones. She has diarrhea and has been vomiting for 2 days. I would not recommend these bones to anyone!

Bad Rawhide Bones - Infested!
by: Anonymous

I know someone who just recently bought this kind of bone for her dogs and when they broke the bone in half beetles came out of it. Disgusting!

Dog sick from Walmart Exer-hide femur bone!
by: Kevin in Denver

Reposted here since bad reports are with both bones and rawhide dog chews from exerhide.

Our neighbor bought a Femur dog bone (exer-hide) from Walmart and the very next day my 60lb. dog was shaking from the midsection to her hind quarters. They were made in Brazil.

DO NOT buy Walmart Exer-hide's unless you want a sick or dead dog!

Femur Bone
by: Anonymous

Gave my dog an exer-hide femur bone and he acted like he was going out of his mind... very strange behavior including restlessness and diarrhea. I will also stick with rawhide dog chews from now on.
