Sleepy Miles

Miles is a rescue dog found in the back of an abandoned farm. He came to our family as a foster dog, as we were only going to house him until he found a permanent home. Within his first few weeks in our belonging he traveled from South Carolina, got stuck in a rain storm in Chicago and finally made it to our home in New York. He is now 6 months old, and we are not quite sure what kind of dog he actually is. We know for sure that his mom is a golden retriever, and his long back indicates that he definitely has some daschound in him. How that worked, we are still unsure. When he got home, the rest of our family instantly fell in love and decided to adopt him for good. Based on the long journey he took to get here, as well as how his body seems to go on for "miles", we decided Miles was an appropriate name. Although he is still in the puppy phase of his life, and ultimately tearing up our home pillow by pillow, we still love him and think he is the cutest puppy alive!!
