Rawhide Dog Chews - Mouth Warts in Dogs
by jan
They got papilloma virus warts in their mouths which the vet suspected came from the chews. These warts multiply very quickly and invade the alimenary canal leaving the dogs unable to eat or drink. The first vet recommended chemotherapy to cure them so I had to pay a huge bill too treat at the time 12 dogs, (I now have 17 resident dogs). This did not work and the warts which look like cauliflowers returned quickly and with more force. The vet thought that perhaps the cattle had warts and the hide was not treated properly. After this I changed vets and paid another one who decided it was better to try and surgically remove them. Another huge bill. Did not work either. As a last resort I took the worst case to another vet over an hour and a half away and he decided to inject her with an immune stimulant calle Increvigor. Thank God this worked within a few days the warts started to turn black and drop off. They left scars but it saved the dogs lives. I obtained a quantity of this marvelous medication and injected everyone twice over a two week period. They were all cured. Worse still, if I had not of spent a fortune and persevered, these dogs would have all died. NEVER again would I give a dog a rawhide chew. Http://www.janeiro-emmy.blogspot.com |
