My Maltese is Sick From Eating A Baseball

My one year old Maltese was chewing on a baseball and had chewed part of the cover off when I noticed she started throwing up.

She is still sick. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what could be wrong.

Your Maltese most likely needs to be seen by a veterinarian.

If she swallowed pieces of the balls cover, she may not be able to digest the foreign object and a veterinarian can exam and x-ray her to be sure it is not stuck.

If so, it may have to be surgically removed. Foreign objects that dogs tend to eat can be quite dangerous if they do indeed get stuck. I would take her to the vet A.S.A.P. to be sure.
