My Dog Is Really Sick From Eating Rawhide Bones!

A few days ago I bought my two long haired Chihuahua's a package of rawhide dog chews. Nala, my girl dog chewed on it for a while. I guess she ate some of it because it got soggy. I didn't think much of it and I figured since they sell them in stores, there shouldn't be a problem.

My male dog didn't touch his bone at all and I'm guessing he didn't like it.

It's been 3 days and my Nala has terrible pain when she tries to move her bowels. She literally cries and it just breaks my heart seeing her like that.

This morning I took her to the Vet and he said that her stool was moist therefore she shouldn't be constipated. Yet, when she does move her bowels, the stool is like two tiny dots smaller than dime sizes and very hard.

He checked if she for Parvo and the tests came back negative. I don't know what to do! The Vet gave her some sort of laxative but she still doesn't move her bowels normally. When she tries, she cries supper bad.

It's been 3 days and I'm planning to take her to another Vet. Someone who will do more for her and tell me what's wrong.

Anyway, back to my point; those rawhide bones that I fed her get extremely hard and sharp after they're dried. I realize that the acid in my dog's stomach should break it down, but it still has made her VERY sick.
