My Daschund Got Sick On Rawhide Dog Chews

I bought rawhide dog chews from Walmart. Exer-Hides made by Walmart in Brazil. Did not know that rawhide chews are bad for my miniature daschund. Within a day he was vomiting severely. This went on through the night and next day. Called my vet he advised me to never give my dog chews. They may carry parasites; especially the flavored ones. Wish I would of known because this could have saved my dog a lot of pain.

Your Vet is full of crap. I've been feeding my mid-sized dogs Rawhide Bones for the last 10 years, and my friends have done the same with their pets. No problems whatsoever. The Dogs love them,and they are healthy,inexpensive treats!
