It has been a long time since I gave a dog a rawhide. Most of my training and experience is through raising puppies for a large dog guide school. When we started in 1991, they forbid giving the puppies rawhide because of the dangers of choking. I trust the judgment of professionals with years of experience with thousands of dogs.
