Hartz Dentist's Best Rawhide - Dog Got Very Sick

I gave my dog one Hartz Dentist's Best with DentaShield last night (8/30/2010): Lot # TJ10501. She is 8 months old and has been potty trained for the most part, but stays in her crate/bed at night in case of accident.

In the morning there was a terrible smell and diarrhea in her crate and she has NEVER had an accident in her crate. She had more diarrhea in backyard. I put her in the laundry room and left for work, and when I returned there was clear, mucous like, slimy, putrid smelling diarrhea all over laundry room.

I searched internet to research her food for recalls and ingredient safety. The only thing she had differently was the Hartz Dentist's Best with DentaShield.

She is very tired now after 24 hours and the diarrhea has finally stopped. I am waiting to see how she is in the morning and if I need to take her to the Vet.

I would avoid Hartz Dentist's Best w/ DentaShield...I am very scared about her, but unable to take her to the Vet until morning because it is midnight.
