Like any parent, pet owners too can find themselves in unexpected situations and difficult circumstances. A great training book by Cesar Millan aka "The Dog Whisperer". Whether a puppy or an older dog, this is a great reference. The book provides useful advise, excellent tips and remedies as well as troubleshooting techniques. Chicken Soup For The Dog Lovers Soul by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Marty Becker, DVM, Carol Kline and Amy D. Shojai is a great read for anyone that loves dogs. This is a book that touches home for every dog owner. We love the entire "Chicken Soup" collection, but this one is special for us, since we're major dog lovers. A wonderful book by John Grogan of life with a yellow labrador named Marley that touches the heart of every dog lover. John Grogan touches on all the moments of owning a dog, both the happy times and the sad times. As the owner of a yellow labrador ourselves with a severe case of thunder phobia, we could relate to the authors story quite well. Excellent book! While we try to read all the dog books that we recommend, we haven't had a chance to read this one yet. However, we are adding it because it sounds like a wonderful buy. Published by Readers Digest and written by David Alderton; Young at Heart: 120 Things You Can Do Right Now to Give Your Older Dog a Longer, Healthier Life sounds like a great book.
