Doberman Always Gets Sick on Rawhide Chews

My 5 month old doberman loves to chew since he is still teething. I would normally get him a raw hide bone from Petco, but since they are far away I got some from the local food store.

Later that night, he started to get diarrhea and would not eat his food. This continued for 4 days until I took him to the vet. They did not find anything wrong, so I took the raw hides away.

He has been fine since, but yesterday we gave him another different rawhide...yet again he started with diarrhea. That is the last rawhide dog chew he will ever get.
