Chewy Quiles

This is Chewbacca "Chewy", our 14 year old miniature poodle. My husband gave him to me for our first Christmas together in 1993. He has been in my life since I was 18 years old. When we got married in 2005, he was our ring poodle. He wore a tuxedo and walked down the aisle. He is our little senior now and has an enlarged heart. Seeing him change has been quite difficult. Knowing that we don't have much time with him breaks our hearts. He is the most loving dog and the smartest as well. I am trying my best as well as my husband to make his final time as comfortable as possible. He enjoys car rides to the beach, walks in the park and just lying down in our air conditioned bedroom just spending time with his mom and dad. I just wanted to share this picture of him. He is still with us, but we don't know for how long. Chewy: Mom and Dad love you and will be with you 'til the end...
