Being the owners of large dogs ourselves, we know from experience how difficult it can be to find sweaters that actually fit our large chested dogs.

Although some manufacturers claim they offer large dog clothing, their sizes and selections are still very limited. Large dogs such as Doberman's, Great Dane's, Rottweiller's and other short haired breeds can benefit from a sweater during the colder months.   •  Length - Measure from the base of the neck to the base of his tail

  •  Neck - Measure around the neck at the top of the shoulders

  •  Girth - Measure the girth around the broadest part of the chest/ribcage
